THE ROOF — DETAIL NOTE

A disused 1960s printworks reroofed in operable ultramarine louvres that recompose the shed's daylight hour by hour — now MERIDIAN's own studio.

The sawtooth shed kept its bones; the glass went. Operable louvres now pitch themselves against the sun's altitude, hour by hour — the studio works under a roof that is always recalculating.
