A-01 STUDIO · Studio 4, 88 Regent Street, Chippendale NSW 2008
A studio that starts at dawn.
Six people, one meridian line drawn through every project. The drawings are code; the code is drawn. Below: the studio's method, set out as general notes.

GENERAL NOTES — READ WITH ALL SHEETS
The method, as notes.
MERIDIAN was founded on a simple refusal: we do not design a building and then add windows.
Every project starts on the site, at dawn, with a sun-path diagram and nothing else — no brief on the table, no material board, no plan.
We watch where the light wants to go for a full year before we draw a single wall.
The result is architecture that changes without moving: rooms that are cool blue at 7am and gold at 5pm.
Facades that shade themselves without a single mechanical part; buildings that tell the time without a clock.
We are a small studio, deliberately — six people, one meridian line drawn through every project we take on.
